Biography
I met Bernhard Küppers at the first Global Peter Drucker Forum in Vienna in November 2009. His article on how to create a sustainable future by empowering employees had then been published in the volume dedicated to the management guru Peter F. Drucker.
In 2011 he pushed the topic further and published "Im Mittelpunkt der Mitarbeiter", together with business consultant Christina Bösenberg, in which he focusses on the reasons of and the remedies for rising levels of demotivation amongst employees which lead to massive financial losses in more and more companies.
At only 46 Bernhard Küppers looks back on to a career of 20 years in finance, of which ten as member of the Executive Board, responsible for sales, strategy and the corporate university of the financial advisor MLP. Amongst others he is also member of the accreditation team of the European Foundation for Management Development EFMD, Brussles).
Main part of his expertise he draws from his own Non-Profit Organisation, Ped-World, supporting projects in developing countries and creating possibilities for Corporate Volunteering.
The change Bernhard Küppers wants to support by his work is a change in HR strategic thinking at the highest company levels and the increase of employee engagement.
